Non-standard cast iron castings/ductile iron castings with excellent performance and flexible customization capabilities

Update:17 Jun

Non-standard cast iron castings/ductile iron castings are high-performance materials widely used in many industries and have excellent mechanical properties and processing characteristics. This product uses Nodular Cast Iron as the main material. Due to its unique microstructure and distribution of spheroidal graphite, it has excellent strength, toughness and wear resistance, which is far superior to ordinary gray cast iron.

Ductile iron, also known as spheroidal graphite cast iron, is made by adding a nodularizing agent to the molten iron to change the graphite from flake to spherical, thereby significantly improving the mechanical properties of the material. This material not only has high strength and toughness, but also has good plasticity and fatigue resistance, making it suitable for manufacturing various mechanical parts that need to withstand high loads and impacts.

The surface treatment of this product can be customized according to the specific needs of the customer. By default, the product is Plain Finish, that is, the casting has been initially cleaned and polished, and the surface remains in a natural state. If customers have special requirements, further surface treatment, such as spray painting, electroplating or heat treatment, can be performed to meet different use environments and aesthetic needs.

The manufacturing process of this product includes two main steps: casting and machining. First, the ductile iron material is cast into shape through advanced casting technology. The casting process strictly controls the temperature and chemical composition to ensure uniform internal structure and stable performance of the casting. Secondly, the castings undergo precision machining, including turning, milling, drilling and grinding, to achieve the required dimensional accuracy and surface finish. During the processing, modern CNC equipment and process technology are used to ensure that each product can meet high standards of quality requirements.

Due to its excellent comprehensive properties, non-standard cast iron castings/ductile iron castings are widely used in many fields. For example, in the automobile industry, it is often used to manufacture engine parts, transmission system components and chassis components; in the machinery manufacturing industry, it is often used to produce gears, bearing seats, hydraulic cylinder blocks and machine tool beds; in construction and municipal engineering, Ductile iron pipes and valves are also widely used.
