    Silica sol casting, also known as investment casting, is a process of creating a ceramic mold around a wax pattern of the desired part. The wax is then melted out and the mold is filled with molten aluminum alloy. Once the aluminum solidifies, the ceramic mold is broken away to reveal the final casting. The process is known for producing parts with high accuracy and fine details, but it is less suitable for mass production.Both processes are used to produce precision aluminum parts, but they are used in different applications depending on the required level of precision, surface finish, and volume of production.
